I just came up with an idea.... I think if you FULLY UPGRADE an Exotic Armor or Weapons piece of gear, it should appear differently.
I don't know.... as an example, a Gjallarhorn will glow and a non fully upgraded one won't glow. It'll only start glowing once its done being upgraded etc, etc.
Im not saying all Exotics should glow, maybe they could all have a unique cosmetic special effect to them. Maybe the Heart of Praxic Fire (Warlock check piece) could have floating flame hearts coming out of it, similar to the Halo: Reach Armor Effect, Heart Attack.
I can see this cosmetic add-on to Destiny make people want to grind more for Exotic upgrades.
Tell me what you think, good or bad?

2 RepliesThat's a good idea. But not something we need right now. There are more important stuff for bungie to focus on right now. Aka auto rifle buff. DLC price nerf

I'm fine with how they are but if you're interested in some info on upgrading exotics and other armor take a look here https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/135518123/0/0 Help is very appreciated

1 ReplyThat's an awesome idea, though personally I don't like the cosmetic tweaks you've come up with. That's awesome idea though and I hope they run with it.

That's an awesome idea actually, that'd be quite cool to see.

That would be cool. The description of the exotic shards would make more sense if that happened, since it says it unlocks "the full power" of the weapon or whatever
