A little bit of network disruption last Friday has miraculously led to my day 1 warlock and my second character (Titan) being deleted by the game, including all the 365 raid guns, exotics and materials they were carrying. I'm only left with a hunter and a random selection of weapons.
There is nobody else in the household to even do this by accident or otherwise... I've been shafted by the online management of my saves. Needless to say, after the game time I have put in, this is very annoying, and if it can't be reversed I will no longer be playing Destiny.
This grates on me especially, as I'm part of an active clan who had had great enjoyment from the game, and still do.
A 10 year vision for their gaming evolution will have lost one of its earliest adopters and champions. Pretty sad.
Any ideas on how to contact Bungie would be appreciated as all PMs on this forum and Tweets to Bungie have had no reply.

7 RepliesHi FadgewackeR, I wanted to let you know that we can confirm receiving two valid character deletion requests from your account on 06/28 at 01:45 (GMT-7). Whether due to accidental deletion or unauthorized account access, we recognize how upsetting it is to lose the character and gear you’ve put time into. We take reports of character deletion seriously and investigate cases of missing characters. In each instance we have investigated, missing characters have been the result of a manual deletion. Bungie does not recover manually deleted characters or items. If your character is missing and you did not personally request the deletion, please visit our Account Security Guide to help protect against unauthorized access: https://www.bungie.net/7_How-can-I-keep-my-account-safe/en/Help/Article/12718
