I was bored and just Randomly thought about this fight. If Elites(Just Elites) and Predators went to war, who would win?
Please avoid the fanboyism but vote on fgts
Edit 1:Predators are beating that ass

1 ReplyI think it depends on what time period we are talking about for the elites. Is it all elites during the time of the covenant? If so I feel like they would have the equipment to win. Even if the other covenant species did not get involved. But isn't the "current" elite society in shambles? From what I have read, they barely have the equipment to defend themselves and can't really maintain what they do have. I might be wrong though. I've been out of the loop with halo lore since around halo 4.

1 ReplyWe aren't talking dumb marines. These are technically advanced aliens with motion tracking and camo of their own. Their weaponry is just as good if not better than the predators. The Energy Sword would win in cqc and they hold an advantage at range. Why? Because they have energy shields.

7 RepliesEdited by LonelyTaterTot: 7/10/2015 1:31:52 PMPredator. Both sides can cloak but only predators have thermal vision. And if they lost thry could self destruct and take down all elites

2 RepliesDid Johnny ate a booger becuase I don't care enough haha sorry if that sounds mean or condescending

1 ReplyPredators are pretty sick. And they are so awesome to play with in mortal Kombat, other than then the hard combo moves
-
1 ReplyWhich predator? The highest ranked one or the lowest? Highest Ranked predator would win. Lowest ranked predator would lose.

1 ReplyElites have energy shields. Rechargeable energy shields. And, if we take anything from Halo Reach, Elites have some heightened healing factor compared to humans (remember their health regenerated slowly). Predators carry field med kits to patch themselves up nicely so they can continue the hunt. But their armor is much less advanced than Sangheili armor. Both races have plasma projectile weaponry, but only Elites have plasma swords. The Elites have vehicles in which they can bring into battle. I vote Elites.

7 RepliesThis isn't even a question. an elite would destroy a predator.

5 RepliesFrom what I understand of both, it would be a close fight. Physically, they are very similar species. Tough, big, reptilian, and bound under some form of honor. But I imagine this wouldn't be just a hand to hand fight, though either species would willingly accept such a challenge. And so technology comes into play. Both species have very advanced, and again very similar technology. Cloaking, counter-cloaking, plasma weaponry, close-range weaponry, the list goes on. But the way I see it, the covenant have two major advantages. First: space warfare. In all my searching, I have not come across any real evidence of the Predator race having substantial practice in space borne combat, instead preferring to fight on the ground. Their ships do not seem to be ridiculously powerful. Meanwhile, the elites have been shown to be masterful tacticians in regards to space warfare, and their craft are incredibly advanced. Guided plasma weaponry, incredibly durable shielding, faster-than-light travel, and sheer size all help to tip space combat in the Elite's favor. And once a covenant force gains control of local space, we all know what happens next...glassing. But I mentioned two advantages. The second involves the culture of both species. The elites, especially their modern incarnation, are a superbly trained and drilled military force, the strongest in the Covenant before they were betrayed. They have fought wars against all manner of enemy for centuries, fighting their equals on civil wars and staving off the many threats to their Covenant. The predators are very different. They are dedicated to hunting, and incredibly good at what they do. But their society is not a military one. Their tribes are separated and isolated, in a way that even the post-schism elite keeps are not. In short, there is an incredibly well-trained militaristic society facing tribes of incredibly well-trained hunters. Predators are masters at their game, but such conflict would no longer be their game. It would not be a hunt, it would be a war.

1 ReplyTake a guess...

9 RepliesAs much as I love predator, I have to go with the elites. They're bigger, faster, stronger and clearly have better technology, and who's to say their cloaking can't hide heat signatures? And aren't elites a reptilian race? There would be no heat signature in the first place.

5 RepliesThe elites can just glass them and use scarabs.

3 RepliesWell vehicle wise predators match Elites they both have speeders, heavy vehicles and space faring ships. Tech wise Predators have between 6 inch-2'' long retractable wrist blades plasma forged encased in a highly U breakable meteorite ore (yes the younger hunters get shittier blades elder weapons are on a different level) The smart disc can be both predator controlled or self guided cuts through literally any material and won't return to the user unless commanded or it has struck its target. Spear. Made from an extremely light yet incredibly strong metal these spears retain almost 100% of there velocity and trajectory when thrown I.E where you aim it is where it will hit with lil to no degradation over distance. Plasma caster. Now there are literally a dozen or so variations of these one that fires slowly but still one hit kills and ones that fire very rapidly for taking on large groups of enemy's. Shiruken acid proof blades can be thrown as well as used as a hand to hand weapon. I'd put a lot of stock into Predators. Some of there tech seems very primal but they are extremely well versed in using it all and while the elites are a honour bond race as well they are more akin to the Samurai while the predators live purely for the Hunt.

1 ReplyWhen I was little, I watched AVP (the first one, the 2nd was terribad) and the ship that dropped the predator into the snow camp looks exactly like an elite battle cruiser

12 RepliesWould be a tough fight, both can go invisible.

Seriously guys the Elites are fooked..
-
8 RepliesWe talking original predator or predators predator, and halo 1-3 elites or the new redneck elites?
-
4 RepliesIf you think about it, predators and elites are very similar: four side mandibles, reptile-like skin, plasma weaponry, cloaking, and strict honor codes.
-
Bump for later.

1 ReplyElites. Why? Legendary mode + those rapid fire cannons (not fuel rod gun, concussion something) = TO THE MOOOOON
