  • People have already told you what is going to happen. Bungie doesn't need to respond to this. It's shitty I'd be upset too if it happened to me, but I understand their policy and realize they wouldn't help.

  • You're trying to tell me it's acceptable that I pay £75 for a product that I devote almost my entire game time to for 9 months, and that when Bungie -blam!- it up for me, that they don't have to reply about it? I understand the situation. I only want to hear what sort of justification the manufacturers have for this sort of wrangam.

  • Can you prove that this was directly related to an error on bungies part? It is possible someone magically could of hacked or guessed your account and deleted them. Just remember bungie can't reply to every single post, they will more than likely reply to the ones they can actually help with.

  • So it's ok not to reply to something, good or bad, that they may not feel like helping with? It's the lack of any sort of answer that gets me. Id be very surprised if my account was hacked. I change my password regularly and there has been no unauthorised activity in my account. Somebody just decides to log in and delete 2 out of 3 characters...? Then do absolutely nothing else. I don't think so. It's an error in copying my online save file across.

Can you prove that it's an error copying your online saved file? There isn't enough bungie help members to address every single post, most of the time they will reply to the ones that they can actually do something about.

You don't think that, as a consumer, my situation deserves an explanation from somebody in the organization that has taken my money for the game and all current DLC, only to erase over 3/4 of all progress? Do you really think it's acceptable that there should be no reply? Jesus, if I carried on like this is have no clients left, unless of course you were a client of mine it seems. You'd be ok with it. What questions are the Bungie help busy answering exactly? Why won't my icebreaker reload etc... ? It's dodgy ground for them answering my question, so it's avoided. There aren't too many cases like this about (I've done some research)

  • There is no explanation though. You're hoping a bungie employee is going to go in great detail about your situation, when all they will say is "sorry we don't restore anything". Myself, and others have told you what they have already told people before. Just remember businesses have different policies, and bungie has no obligation to respond to every complaint. I've actually seen plenty of posts with people saying their character(s) were deleted, so not sure how much research you're actually doing. This can keep going on but I'm going to end it here. You won't get your character back, and bungie won't respond to you with any type of detail. Have a good one.

  • Appreciate your responses. Well just have to agree to disagree on this one. I firmly believe that somebody should be addressing situations such as this, whether or not they seem able to rectify the situation. It's a basic courtesy if nothing else.
