Just got it last night from PoE. The only exotic left I truly desire is the Last Word. After hearing how notorious Focused FIre is in Autos, here I am seeking advices from experienced battle brothers who own this nostagia:
- Upgrade perks or not?
- Anyway to bypass Focused Fire?
UPDATE 1: Most say don't upgrade, so I won't. I will bring it to the Crucible regardless. It's fun to shower people with hailstorm

I have it and use it on certain maps like the cauldron and exodus blue and it does well....it's fully upgraded the only thing you have to get used to is not reloading after every kill to get the most out of the glass half full perk....took a little bit for that

Edited by GraciousEel761: 7/9/2015 3:20:06 AMSo I did this exact thing. I used Suros Regime as a non-upgraded (more or less common quality weapon) for a long time, and had great success with it. After I upgraded it, it was different but still decent. Statistically, it is terrible, but you can still do good with it, because it's a game. Just don't take it into the Iron Banner, in any form. I can say, Suros Regime is very good as a stockish AR (without any upgrades). You have some barrel options that you can try out, I preferred the balistic option with the greatest stability; it was very easy to control even at full auto. Whether or not you choose to upgrade is a matter of whether you think you will use it in PvE. If not, you don't need to upgrade it. Also, even with max stability after fully upgraded, the gun bounces all over the place. Something is wrong with Focused Fire. It's no Hopscotch Pilgrim. So I choose Send It for better range and accuracy.

I still use it to have a little fun and get away from my Hawkmoon. It's decent.

2 RepliesNo. After the AR nerf it now takes 7-8 shots to the head to kill putting its TTK at about 2.5 seconds Thorn kills in .6 seconds (with burn) Which means a thorner would kill you four times over before you killed him lol

Keep it but dont upgrade ar's are bad right now but there rebuffing it soon
