There is no point, bungie already has your money, and will be getting more, to really make a difference a majority would have to stop buying the game and dlc, when you dont spend money on their products then they'll stop and really listen

Yeah, let's all be mad at Bungie for making money.
-
I never said, i said to make a difference we would have to stop playing the game and buying the dlc.
-
"Make a difference?" What do you mean? You're being obtuse if you think Bungie hasn't listened to the community and constantly improved Destiny.
-
Again, i never said they arent listening, they're always listening to the community, but if a majority stopped playing the game and buying new dlc they would rethink their practices. Things like adding more content to base games or to dlc and making that stuff cost less.
-
I don't know what practices you think they need to reconsider. Refusing to pay for games and DLC won't make those things cheaper, it will make them disappear. The more money Bungie makes on Destiny, the more money that will be invested in Destiny in the future. Destiny only had $35 of DLC all year. I don't know why you think that should be cheaper. It's already cheap. Developers don't work for free.
-
Have you seen the community's response to the clear practice that they cut HALF THE GAME out in order to have 2 dlcs for 35-40 dollars. I have never had a problem with it but when you force players to go put a redbull code in to get all of the content for dlc there is a problem. Ive never had a problem with paying 35 dollars for dlc for a game im gonna play, but i know people who do, and bungie made it worse by selling the whole game and all dlcs for 60 dollars in september(yes i know how depreciation works but when you are paying 60 dollars for what day 1 players paid 135 there is a problem, depreciation doesnt happen that fast)

Edited by Rick: 7/7/2015 4:36:33 PMYes, I've seen the community's ACCUSATION that Bungie cut out content for the sole purpose of selling it as DLC. It's not a "response", because the whole thing was a conspiracy theory to begin with. As far as red bull, who cares? You still get the content regardless. It's just a timed marketing deal. I'm sure Bungie is making a good profit on it from that company, which is a GOOD thing. People seem to think Bungie making money is evil. The more money Bungie makes, the more that gets invested into Destiny. As for price, year 1 Destiny is done in September. No new player will ever get that experience back. They are only purchasing the base game and DLCs because it's required for TTK. Why would Bungie charge full price for a game that is obsolete? Destiny is moving forward, and forcing new players to pay for and play old content is bad business practice. It doesn't affect you in any way. They'll never have the year one playtime no matter how much they pay. You did get it and that's the price for playing on day 1.
-
The red bull thing is dumb, its one thing to have timed exclusives, its another thing for people to be cut out of content because they dont want to drink red bull. Plus the fact that people have been taking the codes and not buying it, as the codes are printed right on the can. As far as the conspiracy you think the community has, its not one. Oh no, what happened to the backstory for each faction? What about each character model?(if you dont know the intro to the game is for the exo, the awoken and human intros were cut completely). They cut all that stuff, what makes you think they didnt cut the what is now dlc?
-
The red bull quest wouldn't exist without the red bull promotion. So, if you don't participate, it's the same as if it never existed. But it's timed. You still get the quest. And you're quoting "cut content" from a fake Reddit AMA that was shown to be fictional. You shouldn't get all of your information from the idiots on this forum. Learn to fact check before you make yourself look like an idiot.

And as for that red bull quest, thats a goddamn lie, that strike would have been in the game, the fsct that they made it a red bull thing just shows that they are willing to take any money they can and cut as much content as they can

You directly quoted the fake Reddit AMA talking about the exo intro. It's fictional, made up. You probably read it on here, but that's where it came from. Like I said - fact check your sources. And it's a specific red bull themed quest. If they hadn't been sponsored by red bull, why would they make a red bull themed quest? And why does it even matter when you still get it any way?

I dont see any quotes with a source from reddit, so unless i somehow sourced and cited something without my own knowledge you need to learn the definition of a direct quote. As for the reddit quest they would have just made it not red bull themed, or did you never think of that? You seem to think you're so smart but you dont even make a simple realization that they would have just not made it red bull themed. And its the practice that matters, not the quest, to make a dtrike restricted because of not buying a red bull code is dumb.

No, I don't expect you to use quotation marks because your grammar is so poor to begin with. That information came from the fake Reddit post. I don't know why you're trying to deny it. Since you're here claiming that Bungie already developed the quest (it's not a strike so I don't know why you keep saying that) and just ripped it out and made it Red Bull themed, do you have any evidence? Or just your baseless claim?

Now for the "quest" can you show me where they call it a quest, cuz i can damn sure show you where they call it a strike. And i never said they ripped the strike out and made it red bull themed(oh btw, it isnt at all red bull themed, its literally just a strike, you can find gameplay footage of it on youtube), i simply said that if they didnt partner with red bull it would just be a regular strike
