This week, I'm unable to play until Friday, and many of the people I would do nightfall with won't be willing to run it again. I have seen very detailed videos on soloing Phogoth with solar and void burn, and I feel equipped enough to do it. I trust my skill, but I'm wondering if anyone else has successfully soloed this weeks nightfall, if they have any advice, and if I would be able to do it based on my skill level (mid skill to high skill.)
Also, does completing nightfall solo award the trophy for completing a strike with only your clan members?
Edit : Thanks guys, I'm really confident in my ability to solo but the amount of people who are willing to help me is flattering. Since I have to run nightfall on two characters, I'll solo on my warlock and run it on my Titan with some of you guys.
Edit : I'm on PS4 : shammshine, send a friend request now and I'll pick it up later in the week

It's easy to solo this week. Word of crota Swordbreaker/icebreaker Gjally I just gjallarhorned the the wizards in the first room and shotgunned the knights. You can probably just run through all this up the right side if you really wanted. Then kill the first wave of stuff however you want and gjally the last 2 waves. It only take 1-2 rockets to kill the mini boss and the other 3 wizards if you catch them as they come out. The rest you can just run through until you get to phogoth. If you're worried about running through the trash just take a few seconds to hit everything with your primary. When you get to phogoth just stay in the shrieker and hit him with 7 gjallies pop a synth and hit him with 7 more. He should be dead. Keep in mind the shrieker is void so shoot 4 rockets and step back out of the room for a second. If it spawns just stay out of the room and it will despawn. Only took me 15 minutes at most per character.
