Okay, so I'm under the impression that every exotic in the game has a secret perk/ability (like Legendary weapons, in Diablo 3 and in the Borderlands games).
Here are the ones I am 100% sure of:
Gjallarhorn has premature detonation on the rocket (always killing myself because of this)
Thunderlord has a AoE damage effect every so often when you kill enemies (also a nice boom sound when it happen)
Truth allows you to carry more heavy weapon ammo (I can carry 8 rockets rather than 7)
Here are a few speculations I've picked up:
Feedback Fence's armour brings you back to life if you are killed by a melee attack (mentioned in this thread) - might have to be a certain melee kill or have the melee charged on your character - this is just speculation, I've not come across it. Could be lag + transfusion.
I don't see why they would add one to some but not all, it'd truly solicit the weapon being called "exotic" and make them one step higher than legendary ones. I'm fairly convinced there are more, I just haven't spotted any yet.. :)
Have you guys noticed anything else? I'd love to compile a list of all of them and I'll add yours to the list if you know of any!
Edit:
I am aware that SUROS has glass half full, I was on about it having more and more damage the further you eat into the second half of the clip (even more than a normal glass half full).
Thanks for all the observations guys! This is awesome. I hope we can find more! I'll be updating this thread tomorrow with your suggestions.

I never knew thunder lord had firefly

Edited by DylBart: 5/26/2016 10:17:19 AMI am 100% sure that not all exotics have secret perks but I know MIDA has high caliber round and Touch of Malice has full auto. So not all have secret perks
-
Thorns secrete perk is "salty tears" - everytime thorn is used in a crucible match it will make one out of 4 people post a "nerf thorn" post on forums.
-
Last word is full auto
-
Actually I've noticed with my truth that it's a guaranteed clown cartridge not tripod. Because it literally generates bonus ammo. You load two shells and get a third one free!
-
Gjallahorn has an increase chance that allows you to join party right on the spot.
-
Sorry but this is an extremely noobish post. What's up with all the tags ? 8 rockets capacity is not special it just means that the rocket has Tripod which is the Truth's hidden perk. Putting the Suros in here is extremely retarded. It's literally the perk of the weapon. Just -blam!-ing read.

Celestial nighthawk grants Icarus. Try air sniping an explosive barrel with and without it and you will see what I mean.
-
Probally transfusion made health come back
-
The khepris sting poisons enemies Celestial nighthawk gives you bonus accuracy while in the air

Edited by Amazinite: 6/29/2015 11:05:29 PMThis is what I've gathered Gjallarhorn: Grenades and Horseshoes Mida Multi-Tool: High Caliber Rounds Thunderlord: (25% chance) Firefly Truth: Tripods Plan C: Lightweight Necrochams: Being shit Thorn: Armor Piercing Rounds (even before the perk is unlocked) Queenbreaker's Bow: Surplus Lord of Wolves: Shot Package and Range Finder (needs testing)

Edited by ManBearPigIets: 6/30/2015 4:44:29 AMThere's a compilation here of the ones people have found. The only one I know not on that list is that Khepri's Sting gauntlets still have their original perk that people datamined before they were released (causes a thorn-like poison DoT effect from any invisible melee) instead of just doing 4x from behind while invisible (their current perk). That gjallarhorn one is prox detonation, it blows up if it gets close to an enemy, premature doesn't make sense. The feedback fence one seems like it might be lag mixed with transfusion making it look like the player died, but I'd have to see a video of it and no one seems to have recorded it.

This is a really enlightening thread here dude! Side note though, I've blown myself up with gjallerhorn a few times too! I just laugh about it.

Thorn MotD can affect Phalanxes even if you hit the shield

Edited by SmilyYellowFace: 6/30/2015 5:55:40 AMVex Mythoclast: Because it is a fusion rifle, it does better damage against majors. Not a perk, but worth noting. MIDA: High caliber rounds Suros: Fires faster when you fire it in semi-auto Bad Juju: Rangefinder Red Death: Counterbalance (speculated) Thorn: Armor Piercing Rounds (even before MotD) Necrochasm: Will occasionally kill the target Icebreaker: Surplus (f you Bungie) Plan C: Lightweight, snapshot, single point sling (not 100% sure about the last one) NLB: Armor piercing rounds, kills proc triumphant shouts and t-bagging Dreg's Promise: I don't know if this applies to all sidearms or only to the Dynasty, but the Dynasty will stop enemies from activating defensive countermeasures in PvE, such as hobogoblin shields or exploder shank explosions Thunderlord: Arcfly, 25% proc rate Dragon's Breath: 100% chance to get you booted from end game content Truth: Tripod, possibly field scout (holds 8 rockets versus normal 7) Gjallarhorn: Proximity detonation and gets bitches, 100% proc rate
-
The Truth was patched if no one remembers. That's why it has three in the tube now.
-
Ice breaker surplus. Dead serious.
-
Dregs promise can disable knight shields if you fire at them repeatedly.
-
Truths hidden perk is tripod
-
Last word luck in chamber
-
Truth also has tripod

( ͡o ͜ʖ ͡o) *lenny has you in his sights

Suros confirmed
-
The suros perk you mentioned is not a secret, it's on the perk tree. Glass half full I believe is the name

Edited by adi-matic: 6/30/2015 5:57:02 AMYou forgot that the hawk moons luck in the chamber and holding aces are allowed to stack

Bad juju activates on explosives. It's a quick way for free super energy, but it is small enough to not really need a nerf. (Seeing as there are usually only one or two barrels on the map, and you can die because you equipped a subpar pulse rifle just to get the energy)
