I would like to know how many people would be willing to tear themselves away from their console/platform and/or away from any Bungie game (mainly Destiny) for the entire day (July 7, 2015).
Edit: Someone asked, what would the point be. I'm not here advocating a boycott, I just would like to know if anyone out there would be willing to (I don't want to get banned by Bungie for inciting a revolt for the way they are conducting themselves) however if someone else could fill them in as to a potential reason why people might then that would be appreciated by the party who asked in the first place.
Edit: how is this post still active lol
Edit: Bungie Day

So how many of you who said you would boycott actually followed through with it? I know I did.

I played the weekly strike today. Well -blam!- your survey

Bungie Day is not a day to protest, but a day to celebrate.
-
Or just play the game and enjoy it for what its worth...or don't. Easy.

-
Sit down and play the -blam!-ing game. you'll be back on tomorrow and Bungie already knows that

No, I love Bungie. I'm grateful for everything they've provided for me over the past decade or so. They've provided me thousands of hours of intense gameplay and wonderful lore from Halo: CE starting my FPS and Sci-Fi love to Destiny making me appreciate the grind involved in MMOish games. I'm going to play Destiny all day today, hell I might even take a step down memory lane and playing Halo 3 again.

2 RepliesYou could boycott... Alternatively you could just play the damn game because you're trying to go up against a COMPANY, not your mom when she tells you to get dressed. They won't care, because you guys will just come back the next day bitching about how you didn't get the emblem and how it's all Bungie's fault.

Not me I want the legendary status! When i will be playing in year 6 I want people to see me as a legendary player!

Screw you! This is for the community. This has been around since wayyy before Destiny. Stop whining, pull up your panties, and get on with your life. This day is a tradition that's been around for quite a while.

16 RepliesThere is no point, bungie already has your money, and will be getting more, to really make a difference a majority would have to stop buying the game and dlc, when you dont spend money on their products then they'll stop and really listen
-
You should hate on activision, not bungie since this is probably about the money stuff as always
-
I'll wait to see what my Nightfall rewards are.

1 ReplyI'll boycott your mom. Better yet your mom will boycott me. :)

2 RepliesEdited by Barijho97: 7/7/2015 2:09:15 PMDay one player here. I know that it's meaningless but I'm not playing destiny today. I really like the game but I think that bungie listen to their supporters. And I wish they listen to this. Tomorrow I'm gonna be grinding like always. They never make events or give aways. If they do only for today then I won't play either. But I'm going to be really pissed off. I'll come for the emblem tomorrow
