I normally don't like abstract art, but you got some cool ones there. There's a lot going on there and it almost feels like I'm getting sucked into it like it's a portal or something. That bow design would be killer. With four of those tips (sorry don't know the technical terms) I would imagine that would generate a lot of power! As far as human anatomy goes, I really struggle with it, which really irks me because a lot of the ideas I'm juggling in my head are character concepts. Goes to show you what I took out of my anatomy and physiology class haha. That pyramid...Awesome. There's something about triangular designs I like a lot. Probably has to do with the fact that it's structurally the strongest frame you can get, so I just think of solidarity when I see that, which explains why I picked that triangular pic for my group on here.

I never could do abstract myself. I never really knew how to go about it, so I always stuck with actual subject matters, which was fine, because I liked drawing them. I'm a big fan of the rule of thirds focal system where you put the focal points on the canvas on a grid derived from thirds. Probably my biggest weakness is drawing inorganic materials. Wood, steel, etc, and I would like to draw more of that too. Thing that worries me is I don't think I could ever make them look cool.

Tell you something I haven't told many people. TBOA was inspired from a warrior I drew way back in junior high. Unfortunately I got rid of it for some reason. It wasn't the best technically, nor was it detailed, but that was the birthplace of my fantasy. Never expected it to, but there was a character there, not just an empty figure. I'm still trying to capture that aspect with another concept, but I haven't recovered it yet. I do have this visual for him though, complete with an improved and revamped image. Just gotta get going on it. I wish I was better with graphic design programs; if I was, I think I would be able to do better with textures. How my brother does it, I"m not sure I'll ever know.

Wow, I wish I could create names with that kind of in-depth process. I like it. I had started reading that and noticed his name did sound unique. From what you say, I'm sure I'll get an idea of how his character matches it. In fact, I'm terrible at coming up with names. With Shachal I inspired the names from two foreign languages and in TBOA, I just used Rinkworks' fantasy name generator. To this day, I'm still trying to perfect the style of the languages with it. I'm getting closer, but still have a long way to go overall.

I tell you it's hard stuff. I've been toying with it for almost a year now I'd say and I'm still not where I want to be, and that's just starting off with the alphabet and phonetics of each language. I think I have about five or six to do, and that's after cutting the original count down from about a dozen haha.

No worries, man. I've been preoccupied anyway, so the web is the furthest thing from my mind right now. Sitting over here frustrated that the schools that offer the best electronics engineering tech degrees would cost me both of my arms and legs haha. I wish you luck though. I know I'm still in need of it to get mine functional and sounding right.

I hate to admit I am, but it's only a matter of time before I get out of it. Thanks.
