1 Reply3 and 4 totally works

2 RepliesThe first three combined could work.... So, all out witch hunt leads to sympathy for the cultists, leading to a desire for political change. The people could turn on the mayor and begin a rebellion, characters taking sides as they see fit. If anyone here has played Marvel Ultimate Alliance, the rebellion and empirical side (sorry can't think of another word for it) could work like that. In other words: surrender, fight to the death or they both run away. The rebellion would maybe begin to worship Armageddon's cult, leading to mass rioting and murder and a bunch of other messed-up stuff. Meanwhile, the political leaders are hiring hitmen, attempting to kill each other or just flat-out putting them down. The characters that don't "take a side" would be approached by the political leaders for hiring as hitmen. Maybe each leader could have their own militia and this would lead to more recruiting and fighting for the characters. That's all I can think of right now. Kinda running on 6 hours of sleep.

Definitely going to be a lot of the above, one faction will be the King of Bretonnia and his Knights, seeking justice against chaos. They won't rightly care who controls the imperium so long as they do not worship the ruinous powers.

Political battles master race, finally something Ryker is inherently good at, dirty politics

Akron already fell to madness, passed on the space exploration, already had his share with chaos gods....hmmm
