If you think the UK (and other countries) price should be the equivalent in pounds as it is in US dollars sign below. I'm sure most UK players would be happy with a price around £30. I paid £40 for the full game and now I'm having to pay £40 for The Taken King, which has much less content. Why?!
Hopefully we can get enough signatures and Bungie will then address the issue by reducing the UK price or explaining why we are being BLATANTLY ripped off in the UK and other non-US countries. Have they not heard of exchange rates?!
Please sign/bump if you agree.......
Please like the post too so it moves up in the trending section so we get more signatures....
Edit 1: Thanks to the US gamers signing too! Camaraderie at its best!
Edit 2: change.org petition is here - https://www.change.org/p/bungie-activision-price-destiny-fairly-in-the-uk

2 RepliesBungie are ignoring this problem hoping it will go away, we all need to stick to our guns. The very least they owe us is an explanation why the huge difference in cost? That is the least they can do.

I'm from the US and you guys are getting screwed with this pricing. signed.

Edited by Falcon: 7/2/2015 10:12:16 AMI'm from the U.S. and they should definitely lower the price in the UK, it's way overpriced. Signed

3 RepliesUmm, you know it's because the amount of tax the UK puts on games AS WELL AS the new tax increase on digital games decided by the EU, bungie can't do much about it unfortunately , just buy your games from the U.S. Store on Xbox one with PayPal, and if you us play station your shit out of luck

Just do the only thing they will listen too and don't buy it. Getting angry and still buying it will not change anything

1 ReplySigned the petition, really disappointed to see it has only got 393 signatures so far. Would appear people are quick to moan but not quite as quick to act on something. Sums us up as a nation really. Now if we were more like the French we'd all be on strike at the moment over this ; - )

3 RepliesI just sent this to Watchdog (the BBC programme): Activision and Bungie, the companies behind the game, Destiny are charging $40 in the U.S. for downloadable content coming in Sept. In the UK, the very same product is being sold at £40 (which works out to roughly $63). As this is DLC, I can't see any problems with shipping and even taxes etc shouldn't warrant a price over 50% higher. This is not the only DLC that the companies are overcharging for. There are many many posts on Bungie's official forums about this issue and the company refuses to respond. Here is one post: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/132740363/0/0 There are 100's more like this and there is a petition on change.org which has thousands of signatures. Please help the UK players do something about this or, like many undesirable gaming company policies, this will become the norm. It's companies like this that caused the gaming crash in the 80's Regards, G Here's the link to submit your own complaint, the more they get, the higher the chance of them doing something about it. They just got Sony to change policies on hacked PS4 accounts, they can fight this injustice too. https://ssl.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006mg74/contact
