How do you feel about the price of TTK DLC being £40 = $62.79 I simply cannot understand it. Why do we have to pay an extra $22.79 for a digital download?!
$40 = £25.55, add the 20℅ VAT the UK pays, and you are at £30.66 Not £40.
They have valued TTK at $40, not the price of a full game which is $60. Yet over here in the UK its valued at £40, which is the price of a full game. (Fallout 4 will be £42)
I bought Destiny brand new at release for £41.99, now they want £40 for TTK. It doesn't have as much content as vanilla Destiny did, so how can they charge the same price?
I know there any many more currencies affected, I'm just using it as its my currency.
Another point to make is, the day TTK was announced for purchase on the Xbox store it was £27.99 ($43.53) After 24 hours they bumped it to £40.
Can we at least get some answers please Bungie/Activision?
Thanks for reading, Remo.

2 RepliesI'm an Aussie and I've been told it's $70 AUD here. If that's the case i will not be buying it nor will i be playing destiny any more.

Ppl in the UK shouldn't have to pay more for TTK $40 is just over £25 and that should be what we have to pay not £40 which is just over $62 that is really ridiculously unfair and needs looked into for sure UK gamers shouldn't be ripped off either should any other country that is effected by currency conversion the price of the new dlc should be the same for every one no matter where they live in the world we shouldn't have to pay more because you can't be bothered to convert the currency

1 ReplySimply put, I won't be buying it at launch. £40 is a new game in the UK, and I'm pretty certain that TTK won't contain that much content. Once it's discounted, then I'll consider picking it up

2 RepliesI doubt Bungie will even address the matter, unless it's with something like "Hey, we don't set the price, it's out of our hands". They could speak to Activision and push the fact that the stupid price could well affect sales outside the US, but I honestly don't think they really give a damn. Thing is, if they are honest about their assessment of $40 as being good value for TTK, then they are essentially saying that pricing it above $40 would not be good value, but they'll probably just let it go. Enough people will likely pay it because they want it, or because they're using their parents' money, or because they don't care if some people are being ripped off.

2 RepliesI honestly have no idea, but could the price difference be due to regional laws, or taxes your country might be putting on companies like bungie? I know a lot of things tend to be more expensive there and in Australia for that reason. (Gas is a good example) If someone has checked into this and give a definitive answer that would be cool. :)
