I disagree with the size of the vault, and do not believe DeeJ's PR statement about why it won't increase. It is a programming MISTAKE and either admit it and fix it, or explain why it can't be fixed. Other games have done it. As a non-programmer, the solution seems simple to me: If memory issues prevent increasing the size of the current vault, make multiple vaults. A weapons vault. An Armor vault. A cosmetics vault (class items, shaders, ships). A materials vault. A bank for coins and currencies. A consumables vault.
You have introduced a marginally-irrelevant and duplicative 'social space' (more b.s. - we can't socialize in these spaces, unless you count waving and dancing, the Reef and Tower are stupid), give it some relevance by having that vault be totally separate. The slight annoyance of having to check two places for that weapon I'm looking for would be far outweighed by being able to keep more weapons to play with and experiment with. That's how I would like to build my own legend.

1 ReplyLack of vault space is just going to make me quit playing this game. I have over 860 hours of active play time on this game and most of it now feels like tedious item management because of the space. 90% of new weapons/armor I get I delete. I have ZERO space left for armor (with 3 characters). If The Taken King doesn't add significant vault space I absolutely will not be buying it. I still have a ton of launch weapons I don't want to get rid of, I have no more room for new armor, there really isn't much incentive to keep playing.
