Yes, Bungie's philosophy involves mystery and letting ideas flow around that mystery. For all we know, it could've been a casual talk with a couple of laughs. You don't want to spend $80 , but want the emotes / class items? Well, that's too bad really. If not, you might as well pray they introduce micro-transactions, some that involve these emotes and exclusive class items. But will the community start crying about that?
