Hi BraveSirrRobin (great GT, by the way),
Thanks for posting this! I'm going to try out a few things before a buy a new router (sigh). We are moving our XB360 upstairs to the other tv and will be hardwiring it to our modem downstairs. We are also going to be wiring our tv upstairs to our terabyte drive. We will be using an unmanaged switch to connect the two to the modem downstairs. I am going to try and replicate the conditions that the bridging provides with the unmanaged switch (which is way cheaper than a second router!). Will write back and let others know how it goes!

Edited by BraveSirrRobin: 6/24/2015 7:47:20 PMI'm glad my article can help you KatzeHalifornia. A buddy of mine is doing something similar to you, as his younger brother plays Xbox 360 and he plays on an Xbox One. However, he used a D-Link router but didn't set-up a static IP and Single Port/Port Range Forwarding. Also, he bridged his Hitron router. You may want to try something similar because you can potentially disrupt your Xbox 360 Live connection. Alternatively, you can read Phlogisticated post (a post within this thread) regarding UPNP. Phlogisticated assisted another guardian with setting up his router using the UPNP method, but I believe you do need to buy a new router for this method to work. I'd message him or her for guidance. Overall, the Hitron modem has been proven to not work well with Destiny. You should do yourself a favour and buy a new router and bridge the Hitron modem. Cheers and good luck!

Update: I have bridged my Hitron modem with a Netgear Nighthawk. I have been playing for an hour and got one weasel error. I am hoping that's the only one for the night because I have done EVERYTHING on my end to troubleshoot the problem. Thanks again for the bridging tip. I hope it helps other Guardians!

Good to hear man. I get the boot every once and while but at least it's bearable. Also, another guardian on this thread said Rogers is releasing a patch soon that should solve all our problems.
