Thorn isn't op

If you think it's op you aren't good at pvp. People who cry nerfs instead of just adapting to it are the type of ppl who cry when things get tough or quit when something's too hard. That's the result of being spoiled. Balance: Bungie devs don't know what they're doing. They fix one thing and break 5 things. They created this balance of power based off their numbers. If these kids claim everyone and their dog is using thorn, that means everyone is using thorn. It can't be any more balanced than that. If both teams are using cheap guns, the team with more skill is going to win. If you're crying because it's "boring" dealing with thorn all the time, blame the bungie team from making a boring game. People will always use the best/easiest to use guns. Those who lack skill or the ability to adjust are going to fall behind. Aftermath: What happens when a group of crybabies want a gun to be nerfed? "Nerf suros"=AR's nerfed "Nerf vex"=Fusions nerfed "Nerf felwinters"=shotguns' range nerfed. "Nerf thorn"=... WTF did the fatebringer do to you? Cycle: Once a gun(the entire gun class) gets nerfed, people are just going to figure out what the next best thing is. Probably red death and messenger since it seems fate of all fools isn't apart of the reskinned dlc's we already bought. Then we'll hear from the same crybabies "Nerf red death." And the cycle continues until they decide maybe pillow fights are best for guardians of the galaxy who defend and fight for no reason at all because there isn't a story. If there was less crying on the forums, you would have more time dedicated to improving your skill level. Just saying.

 • Everyone that thinks the thorn isn't OP is clearly blind. Sure you can out manoeuvre it with other weapons, but only about two or three. When you go into a match, what do you see? Oh yeah, just about everyone using thorn. Every now and then you'll see a TLW or Red Death, something similar to that, but that's still no diversity. When the auto rifles were nerfed, it took out an entire class from the game practically. That's 25% of the weapons just abandoned. Now you look and hand cannons. Everyone says "oh well look at the ill will and red hand" that's still a hand cannon. Now let's see here, head shots are 85 right? Burn turns that into 120, now add 85 for another shot, you're already dead. Two shots and you're dead, one shot and you're practically dead because you're wounded and people coming around the corner will have no problem taking you out. The fact that it has 5 ticks of 7 damage is OP. They should at least lower it to 5 damage per tick, 3 ticks, that way it could still technically two shot, but they'd have to get a headshot after the burn damage is gone. Now, I think that they should also negate the effect after you're dead, or have it not able to kill you, just leave you with minimal health. That's still pretty powerful, but not as overpowered as it is now. If it wasn't overpowered, you wouldn't see it every crucible match you enter, and people who claim they have skill with it, would also be open to using other weapons, but the using because they like to hide behind a shoot and forget weapon, that anyone can use. By the way, the fact that TrueVanguard told Bungie to take a good hard look at those exotic hand cannons, it was a big hint to say, nerf the weapons already, try and get it right and achieve balance, not a one way fight against those with 20/20.
