That's your right, and we respect your freedom to make decisions about what you find valuable.
The Collector's Edition is mostly sold out, so the people who found that stuff valuable jumped at the chance. You'll likely see it sold on ebay for much more than what we're asking. But that's not the point. Right?
The real conversation here is: What are we doing to honor you, the players who have been bound to Destiny in this first year of action and adventure? I'm glad you asked. I'm going to answer in the Bungie Weekly Update.

Can i ask about the pricing structure for Australia? Now, the stand alone Taken King is advertised for $70 on the PSN store. This is just crap in my opinion. Considering in Australia you could get vanilla destiny for $60 i'm not sure how you can justify charging $70 for a stand alone DLC? If i manage to get a reply don't try and feed my crap like import taxes, higher minimum wage etc. The fact we could get the original game for $60 makes those arguments redundant. Thanks

He is right. The stand alone dlc is $70 here in Australia. And the CE is going for $120. Even with the exchange rate at the moment, there is still an extra $20 on each option with no justification...

it's quite straight forward please try to understand before one of us dies, feel free to look it up online the taken king (only) is listed at $70 on the australia psn store. Vanilla destiny was a $90 at some stores but the store i got it from it was only $60. To put in more perspective Arkham Knight comes out today, now some shops have it $100.00 but JB Hi Fi has it listed for $59 so i'll be going there to pick it up.

I know what you mean. I picked up vanilla destiny not even a week after launch for $60 from Jb Hifi. It's strange that the dlc costs more than what I paid for the original.

It's a joke really and don't even get me started on the fact to get the "collectors" editions you have to purchase the game and dlc again. Hopefully the price will lower, but I doubt it.

Hmm, interesting. I guess some places have ways around tax for the physical copy but you get screwed for the dlc since you can't buy that at a local store. I get it. That really sucks, hope you figure out a way to get the dlc for cheaper. Maybe buy the code from another country? Or does Sony know when you do that.

Deej, you probably won't read this...but I have always defended you and this game in every argument whether it was with friends,online, or anywhere. Now you are probably thinking I am about to insult this game and you, but I'm not, I am simply stating you have lost my support. I will now not argue for this game, ever. I know one person doesn't really matter and you could care less, but I just felt like I should say this, from a day one player and a person who bought the ghost edition, goodbye.

Bungies never seeing another cent from me. The only way you'll see me on taken king content is if 1) a friend gifts it to me because I'm not going to turn away a gift out of spite, that would be worse PR than Luke Smith. Or 2) and more likely, I score a free code from a friend at game stop. Maybe you should look at CDPR and try to be more like them
