Well you see, Rainbow Six is not a Bungie series. :|
-
The specifications didn't say it had to be a Bungie game. It just had to be a fun game for the Community to play in.
-
You obviously have never been around for a Bungie Day. The community usually gets together every Bungie Day to play Halo, and now Destiny, since Destiny is a Bungie game. It really wouldn't be Bungie Day if we play Rainbow Six.

Edited by BARACK OBAMA: 6/21/2015 8:29:20 PMI haven't seen any call for MCC to be taken down from the list. It was developed by 343 Industries. Not to get into a heated debate, but in the thread it was never really specified.

Edited by Mojo1965: 6/21/2015 8:36:07 PMThe Halo Series was made by Bungie, though. All 343i did was port them. Older members know to assume that Bungie games will be played on a Bungie Day game night. Since you're a newer member, I won't hold it against you.

They put in a good deal of effort into those "ports". Remastering Halo 2 and upgrading the whole rest to 60fps and 1080p for over a hundred levels and maps is no easy task. They earned the right to have "ownership" over that particular title.
-
They already own it. They didn't make the games, though. That's what I'm getting at. The Halo Series (pre-H4) was still created by Bungie, regardless of who owns the rights to the series now.
