When TTK is released Destiny will be a year old, TBD 9 months old and HOW 6 no the old......no way should they bet the same worth as the day they were released, something that old SHOULD be discounted. It's a basic law of markets, old stuff nets a lesser amount the older it gets. EVERYONE is being charged for TTK and some extras, the stuff that is 6+ months old is free. So what if we already have it? So what if people that have never played get it for free? We're all going to have fun playing the new content and classes with our friends. It's been two days and everyone is loosimg their minds over one trailer and pre-order page! Maybe wait a while longer and see if Bungie has any more surprises for the year oners! They are REALLY GOOD at stringing out the hype and teasers. E3 is designed to capture new audiences and wow old ones. Maybe if we just spend a little Patience and Time Bungie will drop some more goodies for us in oh say THE 3 AND A HALF MORE MONTHS THERE'S LEFT BEFORE TTK IS RELEASED!!!

  • I'm not losing my mind. I'm smiling with joy right now. I'd be fine with paying $40 for TTK but having to pay $80 to get 3 things I already own just for the bonus content is a problem. It sucks since it really was not that long ago I put $100 into buying the same stuff. Destiny has dropping price surprisingly quick. That sucks but I'm not asking for free DLC. I should be able to buy/preorder the $40 expansion and get something nice for being with Destiny since the alpha. That's the true price issue. Yeah, I know it isn't as clear as it should be in the OP. Stick with me on this though. I bought something for $100 that wasn't what it should have been. I made some humorous posts out of it and started giving honest feedback. Lots of other people did too and Bungie listened. They used that feedback to improve the game then package it up and sell it for ~40% less with special bonus content. I've gotten those improvements but if I now continue that buying relationship with Bungie should I also be able to pay for extra bonus content too? Bungie thinks so. Bungie is doing this. It's been on Twitter for awhile. Now we are just waiting to see if its useful items or only colors that founders get for buying TTK

No one is paying 80 dollars for the stuff we already own. Everyone, if they want to, can pay 80 bucks for TTK and the EXTRAS. Destiny and the first two DLC are included for free.

Nothing is free. Bungie doesn't agree with you. They are giving veterans special content for buying just TTK.
