No because it takes the fun out of getting new shiny gear. It's not that hard to gear, yes a lot is luck. But I've got people that stayed after Christmas that have gotten a nice collection of exotics. Just do the strikes and nightfall. Gear will happen. Don't take the achieved feeling of finally getting something nice away
