Yes it's a good idea. People who say it would ruin the game are just selfish and ignorant. Just because you wanna be one of the few who have an item doesn't mean the whole game will be ruined if other people get it more often. And for people who say that it would ruin the grind, well that would be good. You know why? Because other people have lives and don't spend 8 hours a day or more on a video game. Bungie could implement good mechanics into trading like say the 2 people trading have to both trade the same rarity of gear. So if you keep getting the same raid armor or weapons or something else and the same with your friend then you can both trade raid items. Trading would make the game better, less people would rage and quit Destiny, and it would make the game more fun. Oh and people would have more of a life:).

Sorry man I have to disagree. I've played since day 1 and do everything I can do to get gally but never have and keep trying for it. But I'll take no jellyhorn over the chaos that trading would bring. I don't see it as selfish, I see it as preserving the community

It would be broken. People who have duplicates of exotics could just give those to people who just started so they wouldn't even have to work to get them.

Not if you had to trade an exotic for an exotic. The new player wouldn't have any exotics yet.
