[b][i]The dreamscape is a spiritual realm where time itself has no meaning. It is that fine line between reality and unreality. It is a realm of strife and purgatory - constantly changing. (The dreamscape can take on any form you choose.. A desert, a room, a memory, an ocean.. Anything) In the dreamscape, your characters may commune with the dead, commune with each other over any distance, or enter the warp itself Champions can enter this realm through death, meditation, and sorcery. It gives them unique benefits to do so The dreamscape is inhabited by the dead and entities directly from the warp.. The entities devour souls of the dead to gain energy for materialization into the physical world, while souls devour entities from the warp to do the same. It is a never ending struggle. There are several dominant spirits/warp entities that dwell here. Some are able to move freely between all three realms: physical, spiritual, and the warp. Champions who enter the dreamscape may choose to continue deeper and deeper until they enter the warp itself.. They will immediately become a beacon for entities of the warp - to feed on warp entities means the gaining of power but to die in the warp is to be lost forever. Nothing can bring you back from that point. Once you die, here are the ways to return to the realm of the physical: 1. Absorb power in dreamscape. You must kill many warp entities here in this realm. As you absorb their power, you have a brief window to enter the physical realm. The size of the window depends on the amount of energy that is absorbed. Once in the physical you can interact as if you were alive, but the faster you expend energy, the shorter your time there. Fighting is the fastest way to burn the energy. 2. Possession. This method only works on weak minded or those that open to you. Doing this allows you to stay quite a bit longer but damages the host. 3. Trading places. If someone of equal or greater power agrees to trade places with you, you may enter the physical as they enter the dreamscape.
