Out of their armor, a fourteen year old male SPARTAN-II (the Chief) accidently killed two full grown, battle-hardened ODSTs with his bare hands. The other two only received life threatening injuries. Accidently.
They have 20 millisecond reaction speeds (ten or fifteen times faster than a normal person), with NO armor on, which decreases even more when outfitted and supported by an AI. When in combat, their reaction and decision times are so fast they experience time in slow motion.
Their bones were enhanced with ceramics and re-ossification after puberty, and are virtually unbreakable. Their muscles basically never experience exhaustion, and are stronger and faster than any normal person's. The Chief once sprinted 65 mph for a short distance. They can easily lift over one thousand pounds. They are genetic masterpeices - the Chief is 6'10, 290 pounds without his armor on.
Once, a SPARTAN killed a Brute with a one uppercut. Another ripped a Hunter apart with its bare hands. Kelly broke an Elite's wrist and cut its two partners in half with a single energy sword swing. The Chief once dodged an incoming missile strike by slapping the missile away at the last second.
This doesn't even take into account the formal combat training and experience of SPARTANS. The II's have spent decades in non-stop warfare, destroying entire fleets of Covenant and saving trillions of lives on their own. They are notoriously hard to kill and willing to do anything to win. Each one is a tactical genius. They grew up together. When working as a team, they basically read each other's minds. Each of them have specialities, and they dynamically and expertly change their tactics for any situation.
SPARTANS don't give a crap about silly space magic.

Actually it was Kelly who ran that fast. It wasn't 62 miles per hour it was 62 KILOMETERS per hour.

Edited by Invictus-7: 10/3/2015 1:23:32 AMThe Spartan III's and IV's are just a bunch of pansies compared to the II's

Annnnnnnnnnd respawn.
-
LOL perfect
-
You act as though the chief slapping a missile didn't hurt him at all. He almost died and was definitely injured, a guardian could easily mop him up. I love halo and the chief but most of the things he survived was hugely influenced by his unique quality : L U C K
-
He didn't die. He was injured by missiles fired at him from a hornet from behind.
-
Yeah just watch the new Halo 5 trailer and see Spartans do work.
-
self rez
-
Don't forget about that covenant bomb he "gave back" to the covenant and a two mile or km re-entry from orbit
-
Wait, don't soldiers die to the same shit pulse rifles as in destiny? Hmm. A full fireteam with max gjallarhorns with 14 shots each (including synths) would destroy your silly weekend warriors.

Armor lock
-
Stfu play station owners should keep to themselves unless they've played both games there's this thing called armor lock and guess what it shoots your pretty little ghorn rocket right back at you
-
It doesn't last forever , and it won't launch the rocket back at the person shooting it . Have you even played halo? If so you would know this.

Can you use synths in PvP? Thought so.

You are true loyal halo fan, you must have purchased the Halo Reach Legendary edition like I did. Everything you typed is 100%. Keep up the good work solider.
-
Is it still possible to link Halo to your Bungie account? Reach was the first game I ever got on my 360 but I didn't know about the forums until destiny was released.
-
Originally halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, and Reach were automatically linked to your account. Bungie.net was a website you could visit to check stats or get involved with the community events. But since bungie has dropped halo and moved on, Destiny now holds that title to check for progression. You can't do it on a phone/tablet. I recommend trying to access your account on a computer to link it. It won't so stats for Halo as of today, they stopped updating back in 2014 I believe. I'm nor sure but try by computer.

Thank you! Trying it now.

yes, and nova bombs have the power of a collapsing star. both sides in lore are stupidly OP, and would demolish everything, including each-other,
-
It isn't lore. It's in the books. If nova bomb had the power of a falling star it would destroy the planet and so far it hasn't come close.
-
Books are considered lore dude. C'mon.
-
No books would be considered factual then lore. The books tell us EXACTLY what they were going through, what kind of training and what their actual deeds were because it was point of view. Not some so it's believed this happened bullshit like most of destiny lore

Edited by Banjovi: 7/15/2015 11:00:29 AMChannel the Traveler's Light into a bolt of energy with the power of a collapsing star. The devastating Nova Bomb scours the battlefield with ethereal fire - but be careful in its use. It takes precious moments to summon, and it must be aimed precisely to avoid obstacles. doesn't sound very vague to me at all.
-
Spartans would still win. They can run up to 60 mph and get up to 40 mph in a second. So in other words they could just dodge that crap nova bomb.
