Is it just me or does anybody else think this map needs to be redone..at least control wise? If you cap B flag you can hold the other team in their own spawn because the spawn is so far back it's behind the flag and it doesn't count it enough for a spawn flip if you push up. You will constantly spawn on the one flag and they can basically sit in the doorway so you can't move up. I've seen team leave cause of this and it's very clear this map need to be reworked for control cause it's nothing to spawn came the other team.

1 ReplyAll the maps need a major rework. Really 98% of them are shot gun shot shot gun. I have been in fireteams where they never have used a primary once.

Also spawn doesn't flip if you try and capture their flap unless you go behind it to the actual spawn and you really get spawn trapped. The map was never built for control either that's why it's so bad

I agree, also not all 3 lanes should be sniper lanes. The waterfall side should he more close quarters.

Edited by eikonoklastes: 8/30/2015 7:10:29 PMIt does need rework and the solution is to put the Heavy Ammo in the spawn location instead of at the sides of the map. When heavy ammo comes up, this will automatically disperse the guys camping the spawn trap and it will also allow the trapped team a chance to recover. Instead, right now, the team running the spawn trap can easily pick up both heavies, effectively making it a no contest.

I think in general it needs to be reworked. In control yes, holding the B flag spawn traps the enemy team, on top of the fact that the map is way to narrow to flank. the two flank routes are too close the mid that you will always be on the enemy radar IF they aren't already sniping the line of sight. In modes like skirmish it literally becomes a sniper duel that traps you if they kill you because they rush your spawn. The spawn system won't spawn you safely near teammates in most cases on this because of it. It is a horrible map and Bungie really needs to focus on not making these tight lane maps like Thieves Den and Pantheon. These maps are too close quarters and I honestly think it would be better to just simply remove the map in general because it simply doesn't play wel especially with the radar that they currently have in placel. Not to mention, Trials of Osiris is the worst when its the map selected. It makes that competitive fast paced mode that's really fun, slow and exceedingly annoying.
