Do NOT play this game on plasma.
When you switch to LED, dont forget game settings, especially for raids and pvp.

My screen has gaming settings. Without them enabled, i get horrific video lag. During explosions/aoe/mass reaouts. With them it plays nearly as good as my old plasma. It just doesnt look as great.

Gotcha. I too play on gaming settings but the HUD with no transparency or removal options makes no difference in the damage from the game. I can pLay Diablo, sunset overdrive, halo, all games that leave a little retention but change what your doing for 5 minutes and it goes away. Destiny not even close. Takes months for retention to go away.

I know it's such a disgrace that they know it's a problem, discussed it, and never felt it important to update their patrons on the result of discussions so said patrons could sell their game and get some money back when it had value. Like me Most bought the two expansions upon purchase of the game. I haven't even downloaded my purchased house of wolves yet because there's no reason to until this issue is fixed.

Oh...are you still playing on plasma? I can bump a very old post that will change your mind! Anyways, theyve known about plasma burn for a very long time. If you stay on plasma, i do NOT recommend playing as a striker. Your screen will get a permanent halo. Something about the visuals of shoulder charge really accelerates the burn. As does sittong on the crota crystal. Run anti burn software, or leave your tv on after you finished playing over night. I was so bummed when my favorite screen burned out. I threatened to sue over it.

Hell no. I was mentioning what settings I was using when I did play. I stopped jan. 1 when I. Noticed what it was doing to the TV. Took 3 months to get my screen even again. I would like to play but bungie doesn't think it's important to fix this issue even when there are people with lcds that are having more permanent issues. my plasma works fine with everything except Destiny And is too good to get rid of. Thanks for the heads up regarding the striker in case I ever go back.

Yeah i noticed how fast the burn in came back after rolling a second striker. My screen burned a permanent halo in about 7/8 days.
