I've literally tried everything that bungie has stated to fix this error code. I've even deleted and reinstalled destiny, but I am still getting no where in my attempt to download this update file. What is going on and what steps do I take to fix this issue at this point? It's a bit ridiculous.

I'm having the same problem. Keep getting oyster. It won't download the new patch. I've deleted everything completely and reinstalled to no avail. I've tried hard wired and wifi. This is frustrating Bungie... get it together.

1 ReplySame problem here on my Xbox 360. The latest Skolas update has left me unable to play. Update freezes at either 0%, 33%, or 66% completion. I've tried hard wired and wireless. I'm on great hardware running a wrt1900ac linksys and a docsis 3.0 surfboard best of its kind. It will not download what is about an 856kb download that acts so strange. By that I mean when it starts the download sometimes and makes it to 33 or 66% it changes from the 856kb download to a 7.16mb download... either way, it never finishes and I always get the same oyster error. Please help. I've tried everything. Power cycling router and modem and xbox and cleared cashes and released and renewed ip and flushed dns servers... nothing works. I want to play Destiny but I cannot. I even bought a new xbox 360 and tried everything fresh and I had the exact same issue. I've tested my speeds and they're fine and pinged my ip and lost no packets. Please HELP!!!!

4 RepliesEdited by BNGHelp5: 6/4/2015 3:46:06 PMHello, Butchboi. Do you currently own either DLC for Destiny? Please make sure, when deleting Destiny, to delete all associated downloads. Attempt to Reinstall. Please let me know if this helps.
