I agree somewhat. Destiny would be a whole lot better if it had challenging content. Right now, all it is is merely tedious.

What's the difference between challenging and tedium. I find PoE challenging. Whereas Crota's End was tedious.

Edited by The Fallen Zyzz: 6/1/2015 7:41:29 AMChallenging content requires you to think, be reactive and be prepared. Tedious content is just you going through the motions, never really paying attention because you don't have to. The VoG came close to challenging content. It introduced enemies and obstacles that couldn't be removed through the application of sheer force or 'hold square/x'. That was interesting. We need more of that.

Edited by Jeric: 6/1/2015 7:31:42 AMOracles are adds that don't shoot back or move. How about oracles that shoot back and move. How about enemies that don't hurt you but apply the blinding stuff if you get hit. How about a map layout and mechanic that requires us to watch out for each other instead of all stacking in the same spot for the revives. All good ideas that Bungie either hadn't thought of, can't code, or are just 'too hard' for them to put in. I say wake up, Guardians.

Well, I was thinking more about the Gorgons. But, yeah, the Oracles could have been far more interesting. I think that Bungie is just too afraid to properly challenge the player. They really shouldn't be afraid to be more creative.
