Thought I did give reasons. Bring MORE players into the game Open more doors to players rather then closing doors More players means more money for Bungie and more money leads to more game development and DLC, better future products and more content etc etc etc. better for ALL players. Matchmaking helps the 81% that never raided for some reason. Maybe a large percent of that 81% could have used matchmaking and stayed with the game.....see above what more players leads too.

More players leads to rage quitting just like in crucible

Optional. You don't have to play with them. And my idea for difficulty settings take cares of that. Look man the "alleged future of gaming" is always online and multiplayer. Somebody is going to have to figure out how to get all players of all skill levels in their video game worlds and make money....and succeed. Nail it! Why can't it be Bungie and Destiny that do that ?? Optional. That's the key. And difficulty settings. I'm sure if randoms went to a super easy VoG they would not rage quit and neither would you. Relax.
-
Saying optional doesn't change shit. That isn't a reason
-
So you need it for lazy players
-
Call them lazy, call them unskilled call them Casuals. Call them anything but paying customers ....right?! Cause that's what they really are. And Bungie and Activison are businesses. They want customers. They want numbers. They want players. And they want as many as they can get. If you need some easier mode to get them in the door and playing your game ..... And if it's matchmaking that opens that door. Open your mind a bit and think like a business and the future. Online games are here and more are coming. They want more games online and multiplayer. That means many ; many levels of skill, and lazy or hardcore. And these businesses want all of them. All the "gamers" they can get. Or go ahead and close your mind. Keep telling companies to exclude people and watch the video game business fail. Watch Bungie lose players and numbers and Destiny fail and watch your game go away. I don't really care. I don't need video games. I have CrossFit. Hahah. Enjoy bud.

Not gonna open my mind for this shit because I know it won't work

Edited by Azreal80: 6/1/2015 1:20:02 AMSure thing. Thats your choice. Get ready because the video game industry will leave you behind. It's moving towards more always online multiplayer games. evolve and titanfall had multiplayer focus. Star Wars battlefront will not have a campaign. COD campaign is expensive and multiplayer maps are a lot cheaper. The industry will want EVERY level of skill and performance playing their products. It's gonna happen bud, enjoy the ride or get left behind. Or enjoy Wolfenstein games that stay single player and don't have optional, forced or any coop mode at all. Enjoy the close minded thinking too. Best of luck to you.

At least I'll still be playing games while you spend all of your time on forums bitching
-
Actually I'm stuck at my boring side job. Security work. I get paid to listen and bitch on forums. Merica. Also will never "live" my life for video games. But thats me.
