Help?
Ok, I'm pretty new to the Destiny expirence. I know light armor levels you up, but I dont know where to find any more armor. I completed the story, and as a level 24 hunter, I dont know what to do next. I cant do VoG b/c of my level. Help me!

1 ReplyEdited by SpartanDog: 5/29/2015 2:53:53 AMThe best way, IMO, is to play a bunch of strikes (ROC, Dragon), as well as the weekly heroic. You'll get Vanguard rep, marks and possible rewards/engrams. A few pieces of the new 36 light armor will level you up very quickly. Add in a possible exotic (from Xur perhaps, if you have some coins), and you're set to run some Raids, PoE and Nightfalls. The path to 32+ is easier than ever! When you level up Vanguard to 3 you'll be getting rewards each time you hit a new level, which can contain new armor. Grab all the bounties you can and get some of them done while doing strikes. The rest are easy to do as needed. Id focus on the Vanguard bounties to level quickly, not Eris bounties... But that's my opinion. She doesn't give you anything you need at this point. Once you have new gear, get her stuff for the xp points. Message me on XB1 sometime and I'll run a bunch of ROC/Dragon strikes with you! Once you're able to do Crota, Im more than happy to help with that too. I've taken several friends and random Guardians through Crota normal (at least thru the Deathsinger if there's only the two of us) so they can get gear. Good luck! XB1 gamer tag: SpartanDog1979

Do some strikes get marks and buy with your marks vanguard armor

Wish I could help, but I'm on PS3. One tip, don't dismantle your strangers rifle, it is a beast in the crucible

You might need to be level 2 or 3 with vanguard, so don't wear faction emblems in the mean time. But yeah, run strikes them buy gear.

You won't be worried about light level when winter comes

Strikes drop light gear. Save up vanguard marks and buy from the corresponding vanguard in the tower. 75 vanguard marks for everything but the helmet I think. You can get marks from strikes as well
