A carbon dated fossil from 70 million years ago.
-
Not anti Christian. The 6000 year thing would go to the garden of Eden. This assumes the garden was literal which us not a core belief of the Christian faith in face the garden of Eden was proberbly written to be metaphorical.
-
Well, if everything is metaphorical, I can't really come up with a good argument. I can only argue with facts. If something is metaphorical, it can be interpreted in practically infinite ways.
-
Not everything is metaphorical. I'm saying that the existence of Eden is not a core belief. Wether or not Eden is literal does not determine if God's existence.
-
I see. Is Noah's Arc literal?
-
There was a big flood idk if it covered the whole world. It also does not matter if it was literal or not.
-
It could for the next argument I'm gonna try. Is it literal?
-
It doesn't matter weather the part is literal or not. What matters is if the belief is a care belief such as the divine birth of christ and baptism.
-
I'm just gonna say my problem with Noah's Arc. If it was just Noah and his family, how did they mate on the second generation? Did they have to reproduce with their siblings?
-
Ya I think.
-
Then how come there weren't any genetic mutations?
-
Idk divine Intervention?
-
And the lack of food? All of the animals that were taken on Noah's arc would have to eat. Also, they need genetic diversity, too.
