I support most of your statements, But I would exclude ToO. It's designed as a team vs. team match. 3 randoms would be easy cannon fodder for teams that practiced a lot. It can still happen at the moment, but is less likely.

Yes because TrippleWreck had tons of Practice with the two developers he played with for the first time, during the premier web cast of ToO

You think such events aren't rigged? How do you know the devs didn't let the three win?
-
Well you could match them with other matchmaking teams. Or let them be "cannon fodder" gives you a nice win. They try harder next time. Maybe even invite each other for next time now that they played together. Matchmaking did that, not an internet forum. Or like I often do actually use team chat knowing that this particular mode might require some talking. I really don't need to interact with someone when I run the same strike for the 60th time. You would be surprised what a random matchmade team can do. Never under estimate the Randoms. I still don't see a negative for optional matchmaking.

SO how is that a problem for those that team up and then join (oooo noooooo we got such an easy win playing those randoms dam I doooo hope the next match is harder pfffft ) you saying they would be upset to play a buch of randoms and win every time. And this could be easily solved by having those that use random matchmaking for ToO only getting pitted against others who are using the matchmaking. Yes it would mean that it could take longer to find a match but im sure most people who would actually use the option would still be happy they get a chance to have a crack at it if they want to. Just saying sounds like its a non issue as to weather it should be there or not the real issue is what form it should take.

but 3 random's could each be more skilled individuals, than the whole of the opposing team, just saying it could happen, you never know

A good team with strategy will most of the time win.

if your on that team and you get paired up with a random MM group, isn't that their own fault for going in with no plan, easy win for you, why complain, just saying of cores
