To me, the ToO seems like something Bungie offered to the best PvP players so that they could acquire rewards on par with raids, but not have to do any PvE content to get it. Honestly, I don't see the problem with it. And in case you think I'm one of those hardcore elite defending this, I'm not. I'm terrible at PvP, as my .5 k/d ratio will attest. I wouldn't survive 30 seconds in there. But I can still respect the gaming skill it takes to climb to the top of the heap.

Only thing I find unfair is for the PVE'ers to get their rewards they have to farm for countless hours for a damn key. PVP'ers earn their reward by beating the trials. PVE'ers earn their reward by fighting with RNG for a key, then beating the prison. Nobody playing PVP has to farm crucible for a damn key to open the chest on Mercury.

  • The chest in PoE can be opened multiple times in a week for rewards. The Lighthouse chest only gives rewards once per week per character. That's why you need a key for the PoE chest.

  • They need to make it once a week and get rid of keys. They also need to remove exotics from the 28 poe. You shouldn't be almost guaranteed exotics for something that is lower level than the current strike playlist. There is no endgame activity that easy that offers that kind of drop rate.

  • The first PoE key chest you open on a character for that week is guaranteed to have an exotic. Whether that's the 28, 32, 34 or 35. Beyond that, the chest has a much lower chance of exotics (feels like 5%).

  • Still the 28 poe should not be guaranteeing anything. Its easier than the strike playlist. They should nerf drop rates and get rid of keys. 35 and 34 will be your legendary and exotic chances. 28 will be blue engrams just like strikes. Then no one has to waste time farming for keys.
