At current, our philosophy about endgame content is that part of the challenge includes forming up a team. This is a strong community filled with players who are looking for teammates. Why not seek each other out here and band together?

I have to go to someone's profile IF I find anyone, go to profile look up their tag then go to Xbox and search them up again. The lfg sites have terrible lag to the Microsoft messaging site so you miss your window of opportunity to contact anyone before they find another willing player. It's lazy to call that part of the challenge. That's just saying we don't want to help you find a team to play our content because it makes it last that much longer. Are you sure that isn't bungies philosophy

Part of the challenge of any game should not, however, involve jumping through hoops outside the game just to find ways to play it at all. Let the challenges come from playing the game, not trying to gain access to it. There's literally no valid excuse for forcing your community to rely on external utilities just so they can access content they've already paid for. To answer you more directly: why not seek potential teammates out here? Because neither this forum not any of the other sites for this are actually a part of the game, they're imperfect band-aids players made to overcome a frankly glaring flaw.

Then you need to put in a way in game for match making. Having to get on lfg everytime I want to do any high end PVE activity is a really bad experience. For people with families and full time jobs we typically don't have an extra 20 minutes to find a group. We just want to be able to play the awesome game you created. Using sites like lfg make many us not want to play your game. It's an unnecessary step. Let the people who want to use sites like lfg use it and give the rest of us matchmaking.

If there's no optional matchmaking, then put a way for players to look for other people to play with IN THE GAME. You shouldn't want people to stop playing your game for 20 minutes to find someone to play with. Even longer if they're not 295+ light since this community is terrible.

I'm not sure what reasons the Dev team needs to hear, or their reasons for not implementing it, but an optional matchmaking system like the one LostSols described would considerably improve the guardians quality of life and quite possibly increase both an individual's amount of time spent on destiny, and Bungie profits. Just my two cents.

Remember how raid and PoE acceptance was gated with Gjahallhorn requirements? Yea now it's light level. Have you looked at the recruitment page? Took me almost an hour just to get two ppl to run the daily. One guy bitched after joining my game that I was only 294 and then promptly died in the first room. Then left after we got to the boss and didn't get enough damage. Back to orbit... Waited another 20 min and then gave up. Let me tell you HOW MUCH FUN THAT WAS.

Obviously demanding that I've done it or been flawless is an absurd request because that leaves late to the game players out in the cold! I've done all other raids a million times but I don't have all day to play so I'm still grinding for gear. It's bad enough I only got to play ToO ONE time and after that no one would invite me because I had no experience, if Taken King is the same this game is ruined, the community was a lot better pre HOW!

Ikr that would intail too much work for the developers which costs money and we all know you are failing so you guys should hold on to that money you have now because when Activision is done with this adventure you probably won't have jobs
