""By including matchmaking and making it optional, it would have zero impact on the experience of anyone who didn't want to use it.""
ZERO IMPACT to anyone who DID NOT WANT TO USE IT.
Everyone who is for have a Matchmaking option being added NEEDS to include these words in their feedback or reply to those who oppose. They need to be reminded that we should not have to leave our console, own a PC, or own a smart phone to find a group for game content. If they don't want it DONT USE IT.
I didn't pay for a game console so I would have to step away and do a rain dance to finish a game.

It's amazing that Bungie could read that and still not get it. If I work a 14 hour shift and want to decompress with a little Destiny when I get home, I sure as hell don't want to spend a half and hour on a lfg site first.

Exactly. I spend all day at work on the computer. When I get home sitting at a computer is just about the last thing I want to do for any reason. There are nights where I am in the mood to raid but play something else because the prospect of pulling a team together for a raid on LFG is so unappealing.

Exactly. I just want to jump in and play, not spend time on a forum wasting time that I could have used playing.

I work night shift 12 hour shifts, so the last thing I want to do is open Destiny, sit in orbit afk while browsing Destinylfg.com for 30 min after getting home and settled.

Added edit to my OP. Little more truth about benevolent Bungie lol.
