Just did VOG hard mode for the first time and when we finished I didn't get a trophy, I didn't get any rewards and I had to manually go to orbit.
I'm not very happy about this, spent quite a while doing this and I didn't get any credit.

Define what "trophy" is to you, because if you haven't done VoG hard mode on that character this week you got rewards (materials are rewards too). There has never been a guarantee of getting weapons or armor and you shouldn't be expecting big rewards for your very first time on hard. Just do it again on your other characters and next week.

Welcome to Destiny. Now do VoG 10,000 more times on all 3 characters and upgrade your armor to 30 and be thankful the level cap is 35 now. Oh... Repeat above for Crota. Then Repeat both on House of Wolves... Wait.. do you work? Never mind you don't have enough time to be competitive. Take the game to game swap and play GTA 27 or whatever.

Actually I have 3 lvl 30 guardians, been playing since beta. So I've been around, just never done the hard mode and don't have much time for raids. Actually posted this just in case it had something to do with the update.

manual orbit is standard but im not too sure about the loot maybe you only recieved shards for the kill or connection was bad and you recieved them a few moments later but i cant help much there have been known bugs for raids but this ive never heard of. again to leave a raid one must manually orbit them selves hope this helps :)
