Why would they get rid of earning shards from daily heroics and legendary engrams? Literally awful.

You were the type of player who does nothing but complain even when they try to fix something. This update is very good so far.

Unless you have pre HoW armor, there's no real use for shards.

Cause you can trade... They didn't limit them to one kind now. You're terrible...

I'm actually really happy they're removing it from opening a legendary engram, it really didn't make sense in the first place. Better to have a chance of getting a weapon or armor piece you want and deciding if you want to turn the roll into materials than have materials simply forced at you.

Because shards are being phased out, you'll only be able to use them on pre dlc gear like the VOG gear and old vendor gear. Which you should have upgraded by now.

What if your a new player and you get VOG gear after the house of wolves. How on earth would you upgrade it? Unless you can still get ascendants from doing VOG?

You can trade the motes for shards or dismantle legendary gear. They also said they're only taking them out of the daily. I'm sure you can still get them elsewhere

Who said they were taking out shards from VoG? Only from the Daily Heroic because motes will be much more valuable.

I jumped for joy when I read they are getting rid of shards. I am tired of getting them from purples when I have 700 sitting in my inventory. if you REALLY want more shards, you can exchange the motes for them.

Actually its better because he could have even giving you something blue if not shards. An its annoying.
