As much as I hate to agree with Noiseless, everything he's saying is pretty much spot on.
-
You realize that micro and macro evolution are the same thing, just on different scales? If you knew anything about evolution, you'd know that macro takes millions of years to occur.
-
Edited by KiNg_george19: 5/14/2015 2:48:47 PMSo since we have never observed macroevolution, where is the proof that it ever occurred?
-
You don't have to observe something to know it happened. You and your imaginary sky friend should know that. Evidence is all around us: 1) Homologous and vestigial structure 2) DNA similarities 3) The fossil record. 4) Similarities in embryological development. 5) Only plausible theory for life, knowing that the earth is 4.5 billion years old. There are many more, but these are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
-
Edited by KiNg_george19: 5/14/2015 3:10:13 PMBut the fact is that the billions of known fossils do not include a single unequivocal transitional form with transitional structures in the process of evolving. Given that evolution, according to Darwin, was in a continual state of motion . . . it follows logically that the fossil record should be rife with examples of transitional forms leading from the less to the more evolved.
if your belief takes so much faith to belief in since there is no proof, why do you disqualify my belief because it takes faith to believe in as well?
There are fossils of those species, but just not many. This is because of several reasons: 1) The fossils could have been destroyed over time. 2) Not every dead animal becomes a fossil. The conditions required for fossilization are quite rare. 3) The earth is huge. We simply haven't found some of them yet. 4) Some have sank too deep into the earth to be found. It depends on where the animal died. And do you even understand how idiotic it is to say that there is no proof of evolution? I just gave you 5 points, and you didn't even touch the other 4. You instead chose to flaunt your ignorance of geology and fossils. There is not faith required to believe in evolution because it has been proven, and is a fact.
-
It is a theory, not a fact. Let's change subject shall we? What do you say to the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics? It seems to go against your theory.
-
It is a theory, not a fact
its both. the theory of evolution describes how evolution (the fact) works.
-
Haha oh I see
-
No, it is a fact. And you avoided all of my other points. You're just changing the subject because you can't argue with them. Don't do that. It shows how uneducated you are. Thermodynamics is a whole other debate.
-
I don't want to debate your other "facts" because I'm feeling lazy haha
-
No, it's because you're too uneducated and you can't. You asked a question. I gave you an answer, so don't run away now because you don't like it.
-
Well actually remember the other day when I told you I couldn't debate this because I didn't remember anything? Well this is all I've researched so I cant really argue further until I do more research.
-
By "research", I assume you mean Googling creationist propaganda websites and trying to refute my points with ignorance. Thanks for giving evolutionists another win, kid. Keep on thumping those bibles.
-
Anytime noiseless ;)
-
Because, nobody (except maybe your mother) is millions of years old.
