Deploying Update 1.2.0
[b]05/13/2015[/b]: I've spoken with the finest minds at Bungie about Update 1.2.0 just moments ago. They're working to correct a late-breaking technical issue that would have impacted the way the game launches for a large portion of you. Progress is being made.
[b]05/14/2015[/b]: Solutions for technical issues that have delayed the delivery of updates have been identified. Work is ongoing and we'll release the new content and the Patch Notes as soon as we can. Stand by for more information on timing.
[b]Later that day...[/b]: [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/News?aid=12892]Bungie Weekly Update[/url] is live. All signs point toward Friday morning (Bungie time) for Update 1.2.0.
[b]05/15/2015[/b]: [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Destiny-Update---05152015/en/News/News?aid=12887]Patch Notes[/url] are live. Update is being deployed on all platforms. Most changes will take effect when House of Wolves is manually activated.

I'm not speaking for myself, I'm sure there are lots in the community that also follow the same mindset. -A buff to Auto-Rifles, most feel Bungie has gone too far into trying to balance them. It has gone to the point where AR's are now nearly useless.

3 RepliesDoes anyone know how many gigs this update will take up (on the 360)? I've dedicated my entire (tiny) hard drive to destiny, and i'm on the verge of running completely out of space. It's making me nervous for when HoW drops.

I'm sure Bungie is trying to push this update as fast as they can so HoW can launch on schedule. I'm guessing we'll hear what's going on in tomorrow's Weekly Update and the patch will possibly arrive Friday before the weekend.

Thanks for the update. If it needs to be delayed so that it works correctly on launch then please do that. We don't want a broken experience that was rushed out, especially if you know about issues and just can't fix them in time.
