I don't have TDB and I won't be getting HOW so it means 2 weeks without the nightfall, a game with little content keeps locking me out of content which is a bad sign of what mainstream games have become

The reason you have less content is because you don't have DLC. That's your choice but remember you're playing a game that should have a monthly subscription like a lot of proper MMOs do, instead it has DLC. Maybe a poor choice of financial model, but you are not playing a finished product, you're play an evolving game and the devs don't do that for free.

This isn't anything like an MMO, its more like Clash of Clans with wait timers attached to everything Would you consider Dark Souls to be an MMO, since it has a similar shared world except with more content that it doesn't randomly lock you out of There are no excuses, this game is anti consumer at its most blatant

DS is different because it was a final product when released and the DLC were optional add ons. Destiny is a game that should be subscription and is still a developing world with teams of devs working on new content in an ongoing way. Instead they put in a DLC model which understandably irks many people because it's the wrong model. I get why people are pissed but I see this game as a bit of an experiment. Also: DS, best game ever.
