Petition to bring back 1st Series Vendor gear for a limited time.
Back then.
We didn't know you could transfer your light level. It didn't exist and with limited vault space, we we're forced to dismantle some gorgeous armor. I loved my Ghost Angel helmet, but there's no way to get it back. We deserve at least an option to get it back through RNG. I wouldn't mind older gear coming in engrams. Matter of fact, I think people would love hunting for the first series vanguard sets now that we can make them the highest light level.
I really miss that armor.

Yeah it really stinks. That launch gear is no longer sold. Had Bungie said hey were going to permanently remove it I would have be more careful with my discarding. Now all I have from launch is faction guns a single pair of boots and the original Timur's Lash! Over all I don't miss it too much because most of the gear didn't support my Hand Cannon Playstyle but It would have been nice to have known. I would have appreciated that Engrams would still turn into old gear. I mean the new Faction gear has great textures but very very limited in choices now. Seems like to me that Bungie didn't like the balancing of the old gear and is now removing everything in favor of the new House of Wolves stuff. I really miss the original Vanguard Helmets with the V shape styling like the Obsidian Mind helmet those were pretty. Good thing I kept my original Timur's Lash! It has no roman numeral on it! Which will make having it worth something.

3 RepliesU should have held on to it, I say no because most of the old gear I held on to. Now it's super rare and one of a kind. Many people winged at me when I posted about more vault space, all they could say was stop hoarding and well I'm glad I kept everything as it has now paid of lol. To bad to sad I say.

Still using my dustwalker set, I like being one of the few guardians still using it. Just because you hit 32 doesn't mean you have style. I wouldn't want to see it come back for a while longer at least.

5 RepliesNo I kind of like the idea that the old armor is super rare now, and literally unattainable by anyone else. No I do not have it, so I'm not trying to be a special snowflake. But I just like the idea of having super rare things like that in the game. Especially now that most people have deleted it, hardly anyone will ever be seen wearing it. Maybe one day when trading becomes available, those players can sell that armor to collectors for insane amounts of money? That'd be sick

I deleted my comedian/shadow price back in the day and I regret that; however, I kept my invisible hand and grim citizen because of their applicability to everything: crucible, nightfalls, weeklies, patrols, missions--all still relevant. the question is why did you delete something that was not obsolete?

I think vendors should have all available gear options I mean, crucible and vanguard vendors, should (well other vendors too) sell all their gear that they have had available, not this, oo new stock, thing thats happening... (I might scrap my current hunter gear in favor of dustwalker or ghost angel.... might... might not)

as a reasonable person yes cause some of the old gear looked awesome as a selfish person...... hell no I saved my 27 light level warlock helmet which is basically a white with blue version of the exotic obsidian mind literally every other legendary warlock helm has that weird tunnel vision

Have it in vendor rotation and in drops or engrams. I'm not one of those exclusive club types, and Destiny's loot table isn't really large enough to be limiting itself like that.

I think they should just be added to the loot pool for engrams and all legendaries should be rerollable
