4-700$ mmmh go buy junk.
Won't play games.
Sorry
1500 bare min
And min barely.
I paid 3600 for the one I game on. It's a beast
I didn't mean this post to sound rude
As in "go buy junk" I mean should you spend 4/700$ on a PC it will be . Subpar by a lil mind you there are plenty at that price range that can hold their own
Look at Alienware alpha I posted below
499 to start and runs pc games maxed at 60fps like a dream
But, you get a Box. Just a box. And a Xbox remote
No keyboard no mouse no tv I posted a link round here somewhere
It's a great middle ground for your average steam player.
If you want more you'll need pay more
Simple.
Find a good ram your happy with and go from there.
8gb is nice but 16 is better
8 will run Ya 399-699
16?, 599-799 or so
You wanna play a game
Or play a game on one screen run a movie on another
Raidcall/team speak in the background
Trackers for stocks at the command and a few other nifty things lol
Ya may want alil more than
Usually when I'm gaming I have a movie going for my dad
And either music or raidcall. Basically team speak
Alongside that it's using a 7.1 1080p 27 in for the movie and a header and a 23 in 1080p for the game
Running neverwinter on Max smooth
Movie
Smooth
Voice chat
Smooth
With the "other things" running well as well
Sometimes i have a browser open on the main screen and use neverwinters gateway to watch my professions meaning a 32bit browser running as well.
So Ya I like a beast of a PC

My comp can run arma 3 on ultra 60fps and paid 700
-
You got ahold of a good one. Kudos. Nonetheless In a year will it stack up? I buy for the future I like to have a pc 5 years down the line that keeps up.
-
hahaha. Is your name Jon Snow? Cause you know nothing.
-
Buddy. I've been building pc's for ages. Buying one sweet one just saves me time.
-
Im seriously confused on how you could say a 700 dollar PC would be junk? And 1500 bare min? really?
-
Sorry. World Ya live In. Sure if you wanna play shitty lookin games on a 12 in screen have fun You want 16gb and 4K capable Ya 1500
-
-_- Most people dont need 4k to be happy. Its cool if you want to have a really powerful computer, but dont assume that everyone needs a 3000 super computer.
-
Yeah, I was thinking the same as you Ori. I don't need 4k quality at all. I'm not getting the computer for only gaming either, also need one for work and whatnot. So I don't feel that I need to get a $1500+ computer for that, especially since with a $700 computer I could run all the games I own on ultra graphics.

Edited by Sudo Finch: 5/10/2015 10:23:01 PMI buy a pc. That's the best you can get. So in 5 years It's not a relic. Sure I buy 4-700 laptops for work and stuff but I know in. 1 year maybe 2 their junk. Sure sure I can keep em up an running for a few more years easy but compared to the par these old. And. Slow. I have a win 7 a fairly new one when win 7 came around it's got 2 gb of ram and not much htz to run on Sure it works. I'd sell it for 250 it ain't pretty it's seen better days and well. Compared to today's avg pc it's junk Now the 3,000 one I bought Oh a year ago maybe Is 16gb ram at 1600htz With a 1.5 TB Hdd 2 nvidea gpx cards capable of 1080p on split monitors. I've used it on 4 tvs a few times. Currently it's hooked to two of the 3 in my room. I use it for sweet games and stocks mostly But compared to today's avg computer. It still beats it. But yes as I stated before I'm putting an order in for 8,750$ for a new Alienware Why? Because I can Because i wanted one. The games called life. Get good lol. Sure games are fun but watching a huge pile of stocks flip for 25,000 overnight Come on that's better than any kill streak you can get
-
3,000 is hardly a super computer. More like. An expensive toy Supercomputers are 20,000 an up. Supercomputer is termed quadrillions of floating point operations per second or more Sorry nothing less that 10,000 is doing that
-
I'm not buying a computer to play high end games, so I am not spending 3k on a PC until I have a better paying job, or at least a job at all. Probably gonna get one this summer so I can get a PC as good as yours.
-
Starting at 499 it may be a good choice for you. It's a good pc. And a Xbox lol. It's steam based mostly but runs a desktop for anything else Ya would put on it.
-
I've heard about the alpha and I was thinking of getting it. So Its pretty much like an all in one computer? And if it's steam based then that's perfect.
-
Comes with a Xbox remote
-
Try the Alienware alpha
-
Downside their new model is 5k Starting price. No options selected. I need a upgrade 8)
-
Than for then I'm customizing you a nice one brb
-
Oh, well thanks!
-
The top-o-the-line That I'm buying as we speak It's wel.. It's nearer 10,000
-
Holy shit... Is that the upgrade you're going with?
