That's bullshit, I've only got a ps3 at Christmas because we can't afford a new gen. That'd be a massive slap in the face and pretty ridiculous as there's no point as why it can't be in both gens.

Because the size of map, among many other things, s is largely dictated by the amount of RAM a console has. Making it for previous gen as well holds the game back.

It hasn't held the game back so far, besides the map size isn't exactly gonna be the size of skyrim and GTA works fine on my console and that map is pretty big
It hasn't held the game back so far, I disagree, because of reasons previously stated. besides the map size isn't exactly gonna be the size of skyrim I wasn't referring to the size of the maps as a whole, necessarily, more the sections of the maps (Archers Line, Hellmouth, you know) Anyways, who's to say it won't? and GTA works fine on my console and that map is pretty big GTA is also single player and, as such, can perform "popping" (bringing enemies, items etc. into existance out of nowhere) much more easily because of that. Destiny (likely) has to have everything on the current section of the map at once's data available in RAM.
