Hmm. I always thought they were 2 different games. One for last gen and one for next gen. 2 separate disc and 2 separate digitals. Even the updates had different amount of content. Thats why i dont understand why the Community keeps telling that last gen are holding us next gen back. Please explain that.

Bungie specifically stated that the reason the vault space increase wasn't bigger, was because of last-gen limitations.
-
Where did they stated that? Can u provide me a link?

Edited by Ridi8kulos: 5/3/2015 6:58:00 PMMaybe it holds the vaults size back but not the entire game. Wich is what the OP stated. Thanks for the link.

You asked why the community states previous-gen holds the game back. I answered your question.

It's in one of the weekly updates before that last patch we downloaded 3 weeks ago

Did u mean this part?
Disabled gear comparison in Vault on Xbox 360 & PS3 platforms to account for additional slot memory
If so. It doesn't say that last gen holds next gen back.
In the case of the Vault expansion, it became clear that we would be pushing very limited memory constraints on older generation hardware. We had a choice: leave the Vault as-is, or find some kind of compromise to enable it safely. We weighed the options, with player feedback in mind, and decided to move forward with the expansion by disabling the item comparison feature within the Vault on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Item comparison will continue to function within the Vault on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and in all other contexts on all platforms.
No. It doesn't say that old gen games are holding the rest back but it is very much implied. If they didn't have to work within older gen memory constraints, they could've made the vault even bigger. And that's just the vault. Think about what that means for the rest of the game

Give me a minute, have to find it.

It's exactly the same game.
