Mics- As important?

No Mic = No good

99

Don't care about the mic so long as they can hear us

Experience is the only thing that maters.

Must have a Mic and MUST communicate.

Speaking only for myself, often when I play I am in a position where I am unable to speak (people sleeping/working/etc.). So I always message people to let them know that while I can't speak, I am experienced and can hear them to follow any directions as needed. Plus I try to communicate via dancing (Yes) and waving (No). For me, most raiders don't seem to mind my silence, provided I don't do anything noobish, which I think is fair. But those who don't even give me a chance to prove anything is frustrating. It usually means a longer search for a team. Thoughts?

My roommates play in a band and practice constantly at home. So i use my headset minimally that way i dont annoy the living shit out of everyone in the party. I usually communicate by dance and just unmute myself if i need to say something important. I have had a few raids where nobody even needed to talk and we only wiped like twice throughout the entire raid. Just get really into killing stuff and then realize that everyone actually knows what to do and no one has said a word because no one needed to...those moments are beautiful...
