You read that and think things were cut from the game. I read that and see that they set high expectations, couldn't reach it, then didn't put it out till it reached they're standards

After all the bugs, glitches, and balancing issues that were in the final product you buy that line of shit? I'm no Destiny hater but you'd have to be gullible to buy that.

Edited by ¤Katsu(Humble)Genshi¤: 5/2/2015 3:39:48 PMGrand Theft Auto had lots of bugs and broken parts of the game, Skyrim was full of them, Fallout 3 is no different. All 3 of these games were critically acclaimed and were represented as some of the finest game making of our time, yet had so many problems. There, you wanted an argument that wasn't ''Strawman'', I gave you one.

What company releases perfect products?
-
Strawman Fallacy
-
No. How so? You want perfection for the first time

Edited by UnwanteDreamz: 5/1/2015 11:11:49 PMAnother strawman You cant change my arguement to suit your rebuttal. I am saying that if you are going to use quality as an excuse for not releasing something then what you do release should be near perfect or you are just making excuses.

Just a fyi pointing out a logical fallacy out right makes u a loser
-
Having to look up that logical fallacy before responding makes you stupid.
-
Nah if that's how you a argument , your one of those people who think they are smarter then they actually are
-
That's exactly how any independent, agenda free person would interpret it. People read what they want. Instead of making observations and then coming to conclusions, they start with a conclusion and try and fit what they observe into their predetermined stance.

Standards??? Have you played this game? Don't be fooled. It probably wasn't ready but neither were alot of other things left in the base game. This was held back to be re-sold. Don't get twisted

Everyone knows this game is something new for Bungie. You forget how much pressure and corporate undermining can mess with the structure the devs put in place. The game may not be perfect, but there was enough info out to know it would get a rough start. That's what updates are for. It's not like the game has been in a constant state of garbage. Bungie has been improving things with every step.
-
I have no doubt a lot of this is due to corporate undermining. But the knew who they were getting into bed with lol. I'm not knocking the game, I still play it and it has gotten better. It was just interesting for me to see someone from bungie addressing this. They've flat out called troll post every time it was brought up
-
Standards? Have you coded a game this size?
-
Yep. That's what that means. Very common in software development
