People are always arguing that only science or a God can be true. Not both, but why not both? I mean how could all that we know as our universe just "BE" without atleast a small nudge from a God? Perhaps he set things in motion and then took a step back to let things naturally run their course?
I'm not very religious and i don't know the bible inside and out, but wasn't the sun created on like the 3rd day or something to that effect?
And if we use the sun to tell what is 1 day, then couldn't the first days have been thousands or millions of years?
Just a thought...
Like i said i'm not that religious so i'm sure i'm missing things, but maybe some of you guys can offer some more knowledgable opinions?

3 RepliesYes. Science is the attempt to find out "how". Religion is the attempt to find out "why". Seeking knowledge in any form is an Important part of what makes humanity special. We are inquisitive. And we can't help but try to define our existence by any means possible. And quite frankly.. trivializing either until there's solid evidence for or against is a blatant misuse of the scientific method that people seem to put so much faith in.
