Assuming that the Traveler is a sentient life form, it would be killed too. So the ghosts would no longer exist. However, if the Traveler is not sentient then the ghosts would revive the guardians. So it's more of a debate of whether he would be affected by the array for me.
Not the galaxies or solar systems per sé, just any food sources such as plants, animals, or any other type of organic life that the Flood could feed on or consume. You would basically have barren wastelands.
Traveler seems to be more on par with sentinels and monitors in terms of material make up.
I was under the assumption that the rings destroyed organic life. As that is the food source of the flood.
So sentinels and monitors are not sentient?
What of exos?
Edit: to further my point, all the forerunners technology survived the fireing. Meaning non biological life can survive the rings.
No mention of their central processor.

"Their mind cores are actually biological. Not relative to any known life form recorded ..."
What exactly ghost is talking about is hard to say since the crit spot has a known make up.

[i]Hobgoblins and Goblins have a milky substance at their core, which a record says is “Radiolarian.” Radiolaria are protozoa found in the ocean on Earth (for example, after the Traveler came they could be found on every other planet and moon, this cryptarch does not know), known for creating intricate mineral skeletons for themselves. Perhaps this means that the Vex use this substance for growth and repair.

If this would be destroyed by the ring array is unknown. I don't know what the affects of the ring were on microorganisms.
We can assume that this mind cores does run the vex and is somewhat like a central processor, but the vex are nothing like a regular machine.
So ... I don't know what will happen to the vex if the array was fired.
