Edited by me2ez: 4/27/2015 1:39:57 PMAs a previous student at UW, writing several 10 page papers on Ragnarok, the gods of, and yes even gjallarhorn. Hearing someone say it a certain way when I've been drilled with this information makes me sick. I know its stupid but arrogance pisses me off as it should anyone. Nordic tongue says gjallarhorn in two ways. gzsh-yah-lar-horn and the common english tongue way which is just yah-lar-horn. saying it in its actual form is a little out of the norm but the thing you have to understand with norse/scandinavian mythology and history is that language itself was constantly evolving and changing. the true and original way of describing this horn that was used to warn the gods of ragnarok may forever be lost but ill take the merits of a college professor and a 100 million dollar domains credentials over some video game bloggers.
