Increased target aquisition is probably stronger aim assist.

Basically it's where if you are not ads'ing and there is an enemy within a certain range of your center point of aim, when you ads the sights will bridge the gap to the target and snap to him. Destiny doesn't seem to have it, or it is negligible if it exists. For an example, see CoD single player, these games are notorious for it.

I truly hope you're wrong, given that the weapon in question was a sniper. MW2 quickscoping... Bleh!

Trust me, I hope it is not this either. I have a feeling I'm not going to like that perk being in existence

Oh man that's some good thinking. Exactly why you guys are awesome! If that is the case I'll have to test that also. I'm questioning the draw backs, like when targets overlap, or cross.

Edited by CorruptedEwok: 4/24/2015 12:25:51 PMIt might also behave differently depending on your sensitivity settings. Aim assist is something I have a love hate relationship with, so this perk is something I might end up rerolling off my guns. If it is what I think it is.

My thinking exactly. Aim assist can be beneficial depending how hard it's programmed in. I plan on having the basic purchased versions as well as rerolled or dropped ones. Testing purposes :3 (all I can think about is testing)

This argument frustrates me, because everyone that argues against aim assist are just acting like they are better at aiming than others. I promise you, for every 1000 kills you get because aim assist helped you, there are maybe 5 times where it prevented you from getting the kill. Seriously, go play a console game without any kind of aim assist and see how frustrating it is and how much harder it is to stay on target. There was an interview with some Bungie developers years ago when they were making halo 3 and they hadn't added any aim assist yet. They said the game was miserable until they added it. People that say they don't need aim assist on console games have been playing games with aim assist that they didn't know existed.

Who is arguing ._.' I'm just curious how an even more powerful version would play out. That's IF that's how the perk even works.

For me, it's mostly about the Fatebringer buff. Whatever nighfall they run that week had bette be arc burn or I riot!
